Sisters of the Destitute is a religious congregation of nuns originated in Kerala, India who draws strength from Jesus the Destitute and the compassionate by being constantly in touch with Him. you can be a part of this mission through the following;
By working in the centre as a short or long-term volunteer.
By visiting the centre to listen to them, to counsel them by celebrating your birthday or anniversaries with the inmates.
By taking the inmates out for a picnic or any other celebration to refresh them.
By contributing cash or kind for the daily maintenance of the inmates
by sponsoring a patient for 960,000 UGX/ year or 80,000 UGX/month
by sponsoring a one-time meal -for all one normal meal: 200,000 UGX or one special meal: 300,000 UGX
You can donate in-kind items such as necessities and food items to support the SD Cancer Palliative Care Centre. Needs may vary on occasion. Feel free to contact the office for your generous donations and queries.
